Bed rest for now.....
Just a quick update since I'm supposed to me resting.....Dec.4th I started having really bad contractions that would not stop, they kept getting worse and my back pain was off the charts!! So Jason and I headed to the hospital. On the way there things started to settle down, so we debated turning around and heading home....good thing we didn't! When I got all checked in and settled in be, the nurse did the usual routine of questions and slapping those fun monitors on me, she said she as picking up small contractions that I was not feeling, then she checked me to see if I was dialated....she looked at me with wide eyes and said your a 3!!!! Jason and I looked at one another and shook our heads we could not believe this was happening at 31 weeks....The nurse called my doctor and I was admitted immediatly. Still in shock and the pain was coming back again along with more contractions. I was used as a human pin cushion for the rest of the night, all kinds of meds that were not working, so they moved to the big guns....IV meds that made me feel like crap and very very loopy! Plus I had to have Morphine along with the meds, so I was out of it for a few days.....They finaly got the contractions under control. But while I was on all of the drugs I developed a sinus infection, ear infection, and the mother of all a yeast infection....It was so awful, it's been a week and 2 days and my right ear is still plugged...I hate the feeling of not hearing and my own voice echoing in my head! I was in the hospital for 6 days they released me on a Thursday, and I'm only allowed to lay in bed or the couch shower and use the bathroom.....This has been the hardest expericence for me, I'm so used to doing everything myself and them some....plus we are still trying to sell our home...talk about "When it rains it pours"....So for now I'm on bed rest and not allowed to do anything for my kids....I really need to make the ultimate sacrifce for my little on so that he can have a few more weeks of baking! I know I will make through this experience a stronger person!
