Favorite things!

I wanted to share a few of my favorite things again. I recently went to Clinique to replenish a few makeup items and found some great new products that I love!

This is there new cream blush I love it!!!! You look like you have a natural glow and it lasts a long time. The color I bought is Glow Blush....

Next I found the new cream eyeshadow...I love love it! its so easy to apply and again its long lasting. I bought Rock Violet.

I love to have my hair soft and silky, so I tried the Paul Mitchell Gloss Drops and loved it, you still have great 2nd day hair!!!!

This is my newest craft project! I had so much making this sign for Spring. I still need to glue it all down, but I cant wait to hang it up.....I look forward to making one for summer.....

Diapers off!!!

So its official Bailey is now potty training! She has been wearing big girl panties for 2 days now and is doing really good! the first day we had 3 accidents and yesterday only 1. I'm so proud of her, I got a really good idea from my friend Maurie, she said to put a pull up over the panties when you are in town then she still knows she has them on and you don't have to worry about the accident if it happens. Bailey was dry all day in town and got her first experience of going potty in public.....mom was frazzled by the time she was done! Cole was very curious about what was happening so he wanted to inspect....I had to pull him away from the toilet and hold bailey up at the same time, I'm sure I looked like a fool and the whole bathroom could hear me yelling at Cole and congratulating Bailey at the same time!!!!! I cant believe we are already at this stage....its amazing how fast they grow up!

Funny gas station moments.....

I was at the Chevron round the corner from our home last week, of course I was getting a Coke and Bailey wanted a fountain drink to. so I proceeded to fill her cup with water and she said "NO I WANT COKE"....I said honey Coke is a mommy drink. Well she would not stop saying it, so I told her she could have CLEAR COKE! it was great she thought I was really giving her Coke, little did she know it was WATER! Its amazing how kids pick up on what your habits are!

I have to have it!

It's amazing what you learn about yourself during times of economics cut backs. In our Home we have really tried to take a step back and see what we really need and what is unnecessary. Well with that said, I personally have learned that I CANT live without certain facial items!!!!! I love clinique facial products. I have tried to do without a few of them but my face has rebelled! big time...... So off to the store I go to drop a small fortune of my face, well worth it I would say! These are the two things I tried to live without and failed! I would recommend them to anyone.

WII!!!!!!!!

As of today we are the proud new owners of a Wii! Jason and I have wanted one for awhile and thrilled to have found a killer deal on KSL! So its our Valentines Day gift to each other! Now Jason needs to come home from work so we can play!!!!!!!

I just did our taxes, and I'm feeling very proud of myself! It was fun and super easy when you have a program to help you! Now the waiting game begins...bring on the money!!!!

Cole took his first steps last night. I can't believe how big he is getting. Cole will be 1 on Feb. 20th. He is growing up so fast!

We finally painted our home! We bought paint 2 years ago and never used it. So we went back to Home Depot and had it re shook. and whala it's done! It's called Raffia Cream and we love it!!!!!!! My home feels so fresh and updated......

I have always wanted to make a Pillowcase dress. I know it looks a little big on Bailey but its my first attempt. I think it turned out really cute. I hope to make more of them. Oh and don't mind Bailey's hair she just woke up from her nap. Let me know what you think.

Albertson's parking lot....

So I have to voice by hate for there parking lot. For those of you who shop there you will understand my frustration. The parking lot is on a downward slop and if you have ever tried to put 2 children in a vehicle with out letting go of your shopping cart its near impossible!!! I think they really could have taken more time to figure it out. If you let go of the cart you will be the lady running into oncoming traffic after your precious groceries.....and you worked so hard at clipping all the coupons to save money...I tell ya is near impossible....

I had so much fun making this yesterday. It's an over sized wooden paperclip. It can hold most any kind of picture. below there are more views of it. I hope to make more it was super fun and easy, once I started I could not stop adding cute embelishments!

Our first night trying "Big Girl Panties"

So Bailey is giving us signs that she wants to start potty training. One of our favorite ticks from Bailey is the hand full of poop and then she tries to clean it herself, what a big girl.....ugh....and gross! I would rather give birth 10 times over than deal with potty training. I need suggestions and lots of tip so feel free to inform me....! So tonight she got to wear big girl panties and has gone through both pairs I bought her. thank goodness it's close to bedtime and the diaper could go back on. In her defense she did really good going in the toilet. So I need help!!!!!!!!!!

I am simply a mom who try's to do it all......

And the Winner is.....

Last night we went to Jason's Work party. It was great they had a wonderful dinner and a magic show, dancing was going to follow the prizes but it was like 10:45pm and most everyone had left. This year they had over 150 prizes ranging from gift cards to 44" flat screen TV's. Jason and I sat there the whole time thinking are we ever going to win anything cool, all the TV's were gone and the Wii was snagged, along with the Lap top Computer. Then it happened his card was called. He went up and drew a number..... Jason won a Ridgid air compressor with two nail gun attachments. I was so happy for him! It took two people to carry it to the car. When we got home and tucked the kids in bed, we went back out to the Jeep and brought it in. Jason is so funny he did not change out of his dress clothes, he ripped it right out of the box slapped the wheel's on it and was beaming the whole time! It was really cute to watch him. It was like Christmas morning came early.....I looked up to see how much its worth, Home Depot has it listed for $250.00. There were also door prizes as you were leaving. We got a car emergency kit. its pretty cool! all in all we had a great time!

Not all Razors are created equal....

I know this is going to sound silly....but I'm a silly kinda person. I recently decided to switch razors, and have found that most out there are crap! I currently have the new Bic razor and really don't like. Jason laughs at me for always changing things and then hating it. But I figure it ya don't try it then you'll never know if something is better. So I'm going back to the Gillet Venus for now....until i'm bored with it again....(like I said its a silly thing)
